Born in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She spent half of her life on a plane getting to know amazing people around the globe. Until she met this Dragooner, who made her stay.
~ the girl who didn’t want a relationshipBorn in Aargau, Switzerland. He spent good part of his life on a bicycle conquering alpine passes. Until he exchanged the bike for a career in plastics and met this Gaúcha, who made him fly.
~ the boy who had everything plannedMariana and Cássia met for the first time when they were teenagers, as their families used to hang around the same spots of São Leopoldo City. They got closer when Cássia started working at Mariana’s family’s restaurant. They loved going out once a month to a Karaoke Bar in Porto Alegre and sing their hearts out. In over 20 years of friendship, the distance never played a big role: they’ve managed to meet in São Paulo, Amsterdam, Athens, London, Torquay, Manchester, Paris and, of course, Switzerland. What Cássia loves the most about Mariana is her dedication to her family – it is inspiring!
David is Kon’s brother. They have been very close throughout their lives and understand each other without saying many words. David is the Swiss Champion in Kyokushin Karate, so please behave nicely at the weeding. Otherwise, David will catch an eye on you! The two brothers love to go skiing together, mainly because they enjoy skiing super fast. Like the time they skied from the top of the Klein Matterhorn all the way down to Cervinia (IT) and celebrated with a gorgeous Italian red wine and ravioli. It was their mom Heidi who taught them skiing when they were only three years old.

Cássia and Konstantin fell in love with Savognin during their ski holidays in 2022. The welcoming local people, the beautiful landscapes and the great gastronomy – all contributed for the Feuers to decide it was the place where they were going to get married (long before the proposal). The icing on the cake, however, was the church Son Martegn. They’ve seen this white-washed-walls church many times from the Julier Pass Route and always found it quite special. Now we all know why.
They went back visiting the village last summer and realized it is a place to go all year round. There are many hiking paths around the area, for example Alp Flix or the Senda Segantini, or one can simply stroll around the Val Surses Valey and finish the trail with a refreshing dive into Lai Barnagn. So take this advice: if you are going to spend a longer time in Savognin, bring your hiking boots and take advantage of what the valey has to offer.
Depending on your day of arrival and departure, you might as well want to enjoy a train journey with the Bernina Express. From Savognin you can go by car or bus to St Moritz or Tiefencastel, where you can get on a panoramic line. The railway has UNESCO Heritage Status, climbing and descending through splendid alpine scenery. It is really worth it! Specially all the way up to Ospizio Bernina, where you can go for a nice walk/hike. Who knows, maybe you'll run into ibexes in Pontresina.
